The Cadillac of Grills : Weber 2780301 Summit S-670 Propane Tuck-Away Rotisserie Grill, Stainless Steel

I bought this not-so-cheap grill over my wife's objection because I grew tired of cleaning up the charcoal and squeezing the food onto my previous charcoal kettle grill. And if I was to going to give up on charcoal, I wanted to go first class. So far, it's met all my expectations, and more. My wife even quit complaining about the cost. It's clean, cooks evenly, heats up in a flash, and is extremely versatile. We've pretty much quit using the in-house cook top. One complaint: My plan was to hook the grill up to our house propane tank, having purposely plumbed the propane line right onto our rear deck. The easy-to-follow instructions for setting up the grill, however, don't allow for this option. In fact, the gas line provided with the grill is specifically constructed to make it impossible to hook up to anything other than a portable propane canister. It took me multiple trips to the hardware store, wasted money on parts I never used, and the expensive advice of a plumber, to finally hook up to our house propane. Now that it's done, it works great. But Weber, with a little thought, could have taken a lot of the pain out of this procedure.

SMOKIN'! : Holland Companion PROPANE Portable Grill, No Flare-up BBQ Grill

I gave it 4 stars in my orig post, only because i ran out of gas in the middle of cooking fish using those little tanks. Before i ever purchased this, I knew it would be a problem with these little gas tanks. Well, it stopped before it was done. That was the bad side, it was only warm when i went to take the fish off. I found another tank, put it on, started it up, cooked for another 10 minutes. Figured the fish would be ruined, but it wasn't, it was perfect. Beats me how come, but the fish came out better then it ever has when i have BBQ'D. I am ordering the conversion hose so i can slap on a real propane tank. My feeling is it should come with one, even if the cost is another $15.00. But, I'm very satisfied with the unit, great little BBQ, well made, and most importantly, it works as advertised.
I changed to 5 stars, it has been working for a long time, and now that I know how to use it, makes a big difference. I also bought a small propane tank and it works great, I recommend you bypass the little tanks and bite the bullet for a larger tank which can also be filled almost anywhere.

I have been using electric grills for years, but this one is awesome and being Stainless Steel makes it so easy to clean. My only question is, being an old woman, it has been hard to re-learn my time for grilling. The Lg201E legacy Cook number is fast and does a extraordinary job. My next thing to try is 'baking' a pizza and given the way it does steaks we should not have a problem.

I bought the Masterbuilt galvanic Pedestal Grill mental that it would be the perfect solution to our small outdoor space. Think again. We couldn't even get the parts to fit correctly. We finally went to Home Depot and replaced all of the hardware needed to associate the assorted parts. This product is junk. Do buy anything from Masterbuilt ever.
